Qualifications for Membership
A sole Proprietorship, or a Partnership or an Association of Persons or a Body Corporate or a Multinational Corporation or a Service concern shall be eligible for the membership of the Lahore Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry, such a firm or company is being assessed for the purpose of income tax or sales tax if applicable at Lahore or has its head office, registered office or manufacturing concern located in the Lahore district.
Definitions
Small Traders and Small Business
Mean a member of trade organization whose number of employees is less than twenty, annual business turnover ranges between two million rupees to twenty million rupees, all utility bills do not exceed one million rupees per annum and neither such small trader or small business is owned or controlled by a Provincial Government nor it carries on trade or business confined to only one Province.
Small Industry
Means a member of trade organization which is a manufacturing concern having an industry less than twenty employees, whose annual turnover ranges between two million rupees to twenty million rupees, utility bills do not exceed one million rupees per annum, and is neither owned or controlled by a Provincial Government nor carries on trade or business confined to only one Province.
Documents Required for Different Categories of Business
Proprietorship
- Application on firm/Company original letterhead signed by the Proprietor
- Completely filled in Membership Form
- Photocopies required: CNIC of the proprietor (A4 size page with clear impression); NTN (RTO/CTO-Lahore) as a business individual bearing the title of business applied for membership; Copy of Utility bill of business premises
- Account maintenance certificate in original (Not older than three months) from Bank situated in Lahore bearing title of business applied for membership
Partnership
- Application on firm/Company original letterhead signed by the Managing Partner
- Completely filled in Membership Form
- Photocopies required: CNIC of all partners (A4 size page with clear impression); NTN (RTO/CTO-Lahore) of firm/company along with all partners; Partnership deed on Rs.1000 stamp paper; Form-C in case of registered firm; Utility bill of business premises
- Account maintenance certificate in original (Not older than three months) from Bank situated in Lahore bearing title of business applied for membership
Company
- Application on Company original letterhead signed by the Managing Director
- Completely filled in Membership Form
- Photocopies required: CNIC of all directors (A4 size page with clear impression); Copy of Passport in case of a foreigner National; NTN (RTO/CTO-Lahore) of the Company; Copy of Utility bill of business premises
- Memorandum and Articles of Association, Incorporation certificate, Latest Form 29, duly certified by Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
- Account maintenance certificate in original (Not older than three months) from Bank situated in Lahore bearing title of business applied for membership
Membership Period
The membership shall be granted for the period of one year and shall expire on 31st day of March every year irrespective of the date of grant of membership.

All fees will be received through bank transfer in Faisal Bank.
